As a soccer player turned distance runner, I had my share of struggles in the recruitment process. I began my collegiate career as a DII athlete for Western Washington University where I set both school and conference records in the steeplechase while obtaining a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science.

I later went on to run for Northern Arizona University where I ran the second fastest time in school history and qualified for the 2025 USA Track and Field Championships in the 3,000m steeplechase.

I never thought any of this would be possible when I was in high school. It was only made possible by the people who took a chance on me.

I’m currently residing in Flagstaff, AZ where I am pursuing a professional running career on the trail and on the track.

While I am thankful for my high school track and cross country experience, I wish I had a program to support me with my dreams beyond high school running. That’s why I created Notebook Athletics.
